Reporting... Distress Signal

Well eff my luck.

When he had gotten to the shadows, he had hoped that he could idle for a while, conserving battery power. If necessary, he could have ambushed he first few people to enter, working on the people in the complex bit by bit.

But no, each individual group of fascists just had to arrive all at once, meaning that there was no way to put up a fight. The Blitz, god love it, was all about sneak attacks. There was no way that a sneak attack would be anything less than suicidal here.

Or is it...

In his time seeing all of the different groups as having a single enemy (him) he had forgotten all the stories about how much each group hated the other. They were all at gunpoint with each other.

Simon forced himself to breath at that point, taking in the situation. Maybe, just maybe, he wasn't screwed quite yet. There were ways of turning the situation in his favor. All together, hell, with a single faction targeting him he would find himself blown to high heaven. But shooting each other to shit...well, that just made his heart glow a little. The fallout from something like that would destroy inter-group cooperation for a while. Leaving people like him to be...well, people like him.

Simon needed to choose one side, and in the end, it really wasn't much of a choice. Persistent bastard, isn't he? Simon muttered under his breath, stepping as quietly as he could behind the armor which had caused him so much trouble in Boston. Out of all the sides, the Baraclow Knights were the ones that he liked least at present and, as one of them had actually seem him before, would be more likely to believe that there was a stealth mobile suit. But if the Knights were being blamed, they would have to be the ones to give the excuse, "It's not us, it was the invisible Rouge who did it." Having to watch them say it would be worth the price of admission, even from a jail cell.

"Sorry about this buddy." Simon whispered as he raised his beam rifle over the shoulder of the power armor furthest back in the group. He may have even gotten closer, but what with all the hell that was going to land it seemed prudent to be as close to an exit as possible. "Except, you know, not." Simon fired a single shot, too high to actually hit anyone but close enough that Law Enforcement would certainly feel it.

With that shot, the Rouge turned and ran as fast as he could down the hallway the Baraclow Knights had come from. He needed to find cover fast and the moment he did he was going to turn his Mirage Colloid off and watch the fireworks.
